When David’s wife Jeanette was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2017, they were determined to live as full a life as possible, for as long as possible.

For people caring for a person with dementia who is in long term care.

If you are caring for someone who is now moved on to long term care, you are welcome join us for a virtual cuppa and a chat with carers who are in similar situations to yourself.

Racing Reminiscence.  Held on the 1st Wednesday of each month, 2.00pm-4.00pm

When Frank’s wife Moira moved into residential care, he set off on an extraordinary fundraising walk that took him more than 170 miles along the cliff tops, shorelines and footpaths of the Scottish Highlands. Frank has raised over £35,000 for Alzheimer Scotland. 

Duns Memory Cafe.  Held on the second Tuesday and the fourth Thursday of every month, from 2.00pm to 3.30pm.
