Last summer Alzheimer Scotland announced plans for the UK’s first Outdoor Dementia Resource Centre at Badaguish Outdoor Centre near Aviemore, which will officially open in April 2023.

Alzheimer Scotland will be taking our outdoor resource centre project on tour around Strathspey with their tipi as a mobile venue. It is open to all members of the community who are living with dementia.

Last summer Alzheimer Scotland announced plans for the UK’s first Outdoor Dementia Resource Centre at Badaguish Outdoor Centre near Aviemore, which will officially open in April 2023.

Over the next six weeks the team will be taking the project on tour around Strathspey with their tipi as a mobile venue so people can find out more about and experience the services the new centre will provide. 

Take on the walk from through Musselburgh and Edinburgh, finishing at BT Murrayfield by completing the Mighty stride at 21 miles or one of the smaller walks all while raising money for a good cause.

Take on the walk from Dundee to St Andrews by completing the Mighty stride at 20 miles or one of the smaller walks all while raising money for a good cause.

Take on the walk from Aberdeen by completing the Mighty stride at 17.8 miles or one of the smaller walks all while raising money for a good cause.

Take on the walk from Glasgow green to Balloch by completing the Mighty stride at 22.7 miles or one of the smaller walks all while raising money for a good cause.
