James Sinclair, Dunbar businessman and Alzheimer Scotland Fundraising Ambassador, has been awarded an Member of the British Empire (MBE) for services to charity.
Jimmy has been passionate about fundraising since the 80's when he used to run a pub and raise money from his customers. Now Jimmy runs several Alzheimer Scotland fundraising events each year to raise much needed funds to support people living with dementia, their families, and carers in Scotland. Thanks to Jimmy, we have a varied calendar of events including fashion shows, wine nights and the iconic Crystal Ball at Prestonfield House Hotel.
Jimmy has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds over the years for many charities through his hard work, commitment and wide community circle. We are delighted he has been recognised with this well deserved award.
