What is Connecting People, Connecting Support?
Connecting People, Connecting Support, focuses on a number of ambitions to transform the way in which AHPs support people living with dementia.
The policy report is about Allied Health Professionals in Scotland maximising their contribution to supporting people with dementia and their families, partners and carers to live positive fulfilling and independent lives. It features as one of the key commitments outlined in Scotland’s third National Dementia Strategy (2017-2020) and is just one of the areas that Alzheimer Scotland is campaigning for key transformational change in.
Since it’s generation, the policy report findings have been implemented by the Alzheimer Scotland National AHP Consultant in tandem with the newly formed Alzheimer Scotland AHP Dementia Forum and other key stakeholders.
